The body shows extremely well with excellent fit and finish throughout. The car rides on restored Shelby 10-spoke wheels wrapped in brand new proper E70-15 Goodyear Speedway bias-ply blackwall tires, the correct setup for a 1968 GT500KR Convertible. The trunk, brightwork, and overall exterior presentation reflect the high level of detail and care put into the restoration and preparation.
Power comes from the legendary 428 Cobra Jet V8, making this Shelby a true King of the Road. Under the hood, the car retains the hard-to-find components collectors want to see, including the rare starter delay system, smog system, diverter valve, factory S-tube, and original Shelby tag. The car has just been serviced with fresh 20W-50 Brad Penn Green Racing zinc oil and a new Motorcraft FL1A filter, and it starts easily, idles smoothly, and runs beautifully.
The factory black interior is extremely well presented and complements the Highland Green exterior perfectly. Inside, the gauges are beautiful, the factory four-speed setup feels properly adjusted, and the tilt-pop steering column functions as intended.
