At GTS Classic Motors, we offer special, historically significant, muscle cars from decades past.  Our cars are our passion, and we take pride in the fact that these cars are not "quick flip" purchases to "turn a buck".  If each and every one of these cars were to stay in our collection for years to come, we would not be disappointed as each car was bought for our personal collection!  We only buy cars that we are passionate about.  Our particular areas of expertise are vintage Fords, Mustangs, and Shelbys from 1965-1970 as well as 1980's Fox Body Mustangs.  If you want an investment grade car that you can actually enjoy, then look to GTS Classic Motors.  We absolutely love a classic car that runs as good as it looks, and strive to ensure our cars are in top operating condition.

About the Owner

Ben Shearman in a Ford Mustang

My name is Ben Shearman, and I have been a car enthusiast literally all of my life as well as being in the car business for over 20 years.  From working on cars with my father years ago, to owning several new car franchise automotive dealerships, I have done everything in between, however, my true passion has always been classic muscle cars.  I have always found classic automobiles to transcend the generations and bring people together in a way that few other things can do.

I personally own my father's original 1965 Shelby GT350 and someday will pass it on to my son.  The bond this car creates with three generations in my family is priceless.  These bonds within families, and being stirred by a passion for quality, historically significant, classic automobiles is the reason I decided to open GTS Classic Motors.  When I see a father and son, or a husband and wife enjoying one of my cars, it makes me incredibly proud to know that I have contributed to their family's bonds and happiness.

Group of Shelbys.jpg

I have been searching for a classic Mustang, specifically a Shelby GT for over 5 years without too much success. A friend referred me to GTS and I called and spoke with Ben. This being said, I recently purchased a Mustang Shelby GT350 from GTS and I have to say, it was one of the best car buying experience I have ever had. After speaking with the folks at GTS about the car, I opted to fly in and examine the car in person. It was everything and more than what was described to me. GTC spent the entire day walking me through every aspect of the car. They went beyond my expectation to ensure the car was tailored to my expectations. I can honestly say, I could not have imagined purchasing this car or any classic car without the assistance of GTS. I consider Ben a new found friend and look forward to future purchases. I recommend anyone interested in purchasing a classic car to speak with Ben prior to doing so.

I contacted Ben looking for the car of my dreams and, because I am very specific on colors and details, this car was no easy task to find.  I could not believe my ears when I received a call that Ben had found this rare Porsche and, furthermore, proceeded to go over the car from top to bottom to ensure the car ran great!  He was such a perfectionist that he even performed some service items that, in my opinion, probably were not needed but he wanted the car to be as close to perfect as possible.  Having seen Ben's shop, I can say that I've never seen floors and cars kept so clean in my life!  The end result was a gorgeous Porsche that has brought much joy to me and my family.  Thanks Ben!

Inside GTS Classic Motors

Just wanted to say that I recently bought a classic Shelby Mustang from Ben and the whole process was extremely smooth.  Car was exactly how Ben described it with no unforeseen issues.  Ben took his time explaining any questions I had as well as performing an oil change and giving the car a thorough going over before I picked it up.  Ben also provided me with all the documentation that he had to go with the car.  I highly recommend Ben and GTS Classics if you are looking for a clean well documented classic car and especially if you are looking for a Shelby as that is his area of expertise.  I have bought many cars over the years and Ben is without question one of the most honest and upstanding person I have ever dealt with.  You will not be disappointed!

I have known Ben for approximately 5 years now. I was introduced to him by a mutual friend while my wife and I were new car shopping. Our first experience with Ben got us a new Wrangler Rubicon. It was a beautiful vehicle that my wife loved. What was just as wonderful was the ease of buying a car from Ben. It was literally the smoothest vehicle transaction I have ever done in my 40+ years of buying many vehicles. In fact it was such a pleasant experience we have purchased 2 more new vehicles and one more used one from him. All of these have been the same  smooth and pain free purchases ever. Ben is there before, during and after each sale which is remarkable in the car business. Over these past 5 years we have talked on numerous occasions at how I would love to have a classic Mustang. I particularly wanted a convertible, but I had a tight budget for a toy that I probably wouldn’t drive that often. Over the last couple of years Ben has come across some really nice  convertibles, but they just weren’t exactly what I wanted. I’m that guy; extremely picky. Fast forward to July 2024. Ben called me and advised he had just purchased a really nice Fox body convertible. He was heading back to GTS and promised to send pics when he got back. Within 2 hours I had the pics and my wife and I went over them. Once again, it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. But, in the background of one pic, there was a cool ‘66 coupe in Wimbledon White. That caught our eye. My wife’s dad had a 66! I texted Ben and let him know the Fox body just wasn’t doing it for me. I asked what was up with that ‘66?

10 seconds later Ben calls me. He goes into great detail about the 66. It’s history and everything he knew about it. He gave me a price, told me to think about it and then sent me a ton of pics.

Needless to say; we found our first classic Mustang. I showed my wife the pics, the price and it was a done deal! I called Ben and he took it from there with everything relating to the paperwork and he even delivered it to our house! We love our little ice cream getter, but it wouldn’t be as fun if we hadn’t gotten it from Ben and GTS Classics.

We look forward to our friendship and maybe a ragtop is in our future too!
