This Shelby GT350 Convertible has been known to GTS Classic Motors for many years, having recently been reacquired from a client who displayed it in his private museum. Originally sold new through Tasca Ford—one of the most famous Ford/Shelby performance dealerships—this car’s provenance adds immense historical significance.
As one of only 404 GT350 Convertibles built in 1968, and even fewer finished in factory Code “A” Raven Black, this example is among the rarest and most desirable Shelbys produced. Its restoration was executed to exacting factory-correct standards, and the car remains fully documented with extensive provenance.
Restored in its original Code “A” Raven Black, the paint presents with deep gloss and mirror-like clarity. Factory-correct details such as replicated assembly-line chalk marks, paint daubs, and original-style stickers have been faithfully reproduced.

The body underwent a complete rotisserie restoration, finished underside in proper red oxide with accurate detailing. It rides on restored 10-spoke Shelby wheels wrapped in new E70-15 Goodyear Speedway Polyglas outline white letter tires, maintaining the authentic 1968 Shelby stance. Panel fit and finish are exceptional throughout.
Powered by its factory J-code 302 cubic inch V8 paired to a C4 automatic transmission, the car has been fully serviced and sorted. Recent service includes fresh oil and filter, chassis lubrication, fuel system adjustments, and rear axle service with new seals and differential maintenance. The result is a Shelby that both looks and drives like new.
The factory Black Deluxe interior has been restored to concours standards, showcasing the sport steering wheel, full instrumentation, and correct Shelby badging. The cabin remains true to its factory specifications, offering both comfort and authenticity.
